In our Real Estate Practice, we routinely represent buyers and sellers of residential properties, including cooperative and condominium apartments, single and multi-family homes, as well as buyers and sellers of commercial real estate. 

• We provide guidance through the entire process of purchasing or selling real estate, from the acceptance of an offer and negotiation of the contract of sale to meeting at the closing table. 
•  We are highly experienced in addressing and resolving complex issues relating to title or local municipal and building department regulations. 

Institutional Lenders

We also represent institutional lenders in residential and commercial mortgage financing and refinancing. 

• We are approved attorneys for certain institutional lenders, handling residential, commercial and cooperative mortgages. 
• Working closely with buyers’ and sellers’ attorneys, we review title and lien searches, prepare recognition agreements where applicable, review loan documents, prepare HUD-1 settlement statements, coordinate closing dates, attend closing and perform post-closing review of all loan documents.  

Commercial and Residential Leases

Our firm regularly prepares, reviews and advises our clients regarding residential and commercial property leases, specifically addressing any areas of concern and negotiating the terms of the lease.
