Mark F. Goodfriend

Mark F. Goodfriend has 40 years’ experience in litigating tax assessment review proceedings throughout the Hudson Valley region. For 10 years, he defended the Town of Orangetown, handling properties including a $100,000,000 office complex, $300,0000,000 pharmaceutical research and development facility, as well as retail, apartments, warehouses, motels, etc.
Mr. Goodfriend then transitioned into representation of commercial property owners, and has devoted his law practice exclusively to tax assessment litigation on their behalf for in excess of 25 years.
He was a Judge for 12 years and a past President of the Rockland County Magistrates Association. He has been the featured speaker at local Bar Association seminars on litigation of tax assessment challenges.
Mr. Goodfriend is a graduate of Northeastern Law School and University of Massachusetts (cum laude) and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1975.
